Conclusions

A Slidestory allows you to make presentations and share them on the internet. That means, to tell a story, share your photos, narrate in your own voice, etc.
It is done by following four steps:
1.drag and drop your images onto the program
2.record audio for each image
3.add a title,description, and some tags
4.click the publish button.
A slide story can be used to describe any kind of theme. It could be about art, entertaining, recreation, etc. We can use it to relate a story with images about it. You can also expose them your own experience as a resource for learning. That is, to share your feelings about trouble for learning, or how it is the best way to attack a topic, or a difficult chunk of grammar, etc. We can help our students by giving them tips to improve their own weaknesses. It can also be a clearer explanation for them about language.
My propousals are:
1. Use the slidestory to explain to the students how to create a poster, with pictures downloaded from the Internet (they have to look for them, of course, related to the info in the text given), a text previously selected to work with, and/or how to illustrate the info in the text to create a graphic organizer.
After that, the students are going to design their assignments, and send them to the log.
2. Use the slidestory to explain them how to create their blogs along with yours.

I think that the slidestory could be a very useful tool if we were teaching the 4 skills but as we are just teaching reading comp. do you really believe that we can use it as you said?
nevertheless it can be adapted someway how as intructions or to approach to the subject. what do you think?

dear teacher,I found your conclusions very precise and your proposals are in my opinion excellent though I think needed to be explained just a little. by the way I couldn't see what categories you checked out.
