Conclusions
A Slidestory allows you to make presentations and share them on the internet. That means, to tell a story, share your photos, narrate in your own voice, etc.
It is done by following four steps:
1.drag and drop your images onto the program
2.record audio for each image
3.add a title,description, and some tags
4.click the publish button.
A slide story can be used to describe any kind of theme. It could be about art, entertaining, recreation, etc. We can use it to relate a story with images about it. You can also expose them your own experience as a resource for learning. That is, to share your feelings about trouble for learning, or how it is the best way to attack a topic, or a difficult chunk of grammar, etc. We can help our students by giving them tips to improve their own weaknesses. It can also be a clearer explanation for them about language.
My propousals are:
1. Use the slidestory to explain to the students how to create a poster, with pictures downloaded from the Internet (they have to look for them, of course, related to the info in the text given), a text previously selected to work with, and/or how to illustrate the info in the text to create a graphic organizer.
After that, the students are going to design their assignments, and send them to the log.
2. Use the slidestory to explain them how to create their blogs along with yours.

Conclusions
These activities, the poster and the project, were very funny and interesting. I found them also very useful. The project poster allows teachers to create a lesson, a worksheet, or a class page, and assign projects to students. These students can be bilingual or just readers, like ours in CCH. The aim here is to complete the assignment on line, and of course it is going to be corrected the same way, or at least, it is going to have sort of feedback by the teacher. It includes images, texts, titles, subtitles, or any kind of graphic or info.
Its applications can be ilimited in education, so you can design any kind of activities or assignments for your students. The kind of the activities will depend on the type of class you need to perform. Here, at CCH, can be done for graphic organizers, for mind maps, for concept maps, pie graphs, etc., about a certain text or also can be done in a collage.
The difficulties I might find are the language itself and the usage of the technology, because of their level of English and their economical situation. That is, they may not have a computer and they don't have full command of the language, and this page is totally in English.
I would solve these problems having the class in the computing lab, make them follow my instructions in Spanish, and giving them the activities and the instructions in Spanish, but not the texts or the information to fill with in the graphic organizers.
This experience has been exciting and enlighting. I think is the tpc I like the most from all the ones I have taken. Thanks a lot for doing it like that.
